The Columbia Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Business Showcase, presented by William Woods University, on April 6, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Executive Center. The day will begin with the Quarterly Membership Breakfast at 7:15 a.m. with the Showcase immediately following the breakfast.
The Business Showcase committee is excited to announce that the founder of craigslist is coming to speak at the Business Showcase luncheon sponsored by the Tiger Institute. Craig Newmark founded craigslist in 1995 and now he is making his first ever visit to the Midwest. Reserve your seat now by registering online for $34.99. Club Seating tickets are available for $99.99 and give you the opportunity to meet Craig and enjoy prime seating for his fireside chat. After the luncheon, Craig will be available for autograph signing in his Showcase booth.
New this year at the Business Showcase will be a Red Cross Blood Drive. The Blood Drive is the Chamber’s way of helping the community and attracting new and different community members to this year’s Showcase. The day will be wrapped up with the annual Mixer, presented by the Columbia Business Times.
