2010 ATHENA Award Winners
Women’s Network is pleased to announce that Sabrina McDonnell of Landmark Bank was presented with Columbia’s 16th annual ATHENA Award and Kerrie Bloss with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Missouri was presented with the third ATHENA Young Professional Award at the ATHENA Awards Banquet held on April 22 at the University Club. The Women’s Network Special Events Committee rolled out the red carpet for this amazing event.
The highlight of the evening was the official announcement of the ATHENA and ATHENA Young Professional Award recipients. Both Sabrina McDonnell and Kerrie Bloss were selected by a distinguished committee comprised of past Women’s Network Presidents, past ATHENA recipients and Chamber of Commerce executives based on nomination forms submitted by their peers.
The ATHENA and ATHENA Young Professional Award recipients must demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession, provide valuable service to improve the quality of life for others in their community and actively assist women in achieving their full leadership potential.
