Women's Network
For 25 years, the purpose of Women's Network has been to increase the personal and professional growth of businesswomen and to encourage participation and recognition of women in the Chamber of Commerce. Women’s Network is a division of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce made up of business leaders that have chosen to come together for networking, leadership opportunities and social events! It is this exciting mix that creates the uniqueness of our organization. I have found my dearest of friends and valued business clients from Women’s Network! It is one of the best things I have ever done for myself both professionally and personally!
Networking is done through monthly meetings of working women and men sharing ideas and contacts with each other and getting to know others who have achieved success. Membership is open to individuals interested in promoting the growth of the business community in the Columbia area. Dues are $60 a year per member for Chamber representatives and $75 per member for non-Chamber representatives and are renewable in April of each year. Women's Network is the largest division of the Chamber of Commerce with over 400 members.
Some of the many exciting events that Women's Network sponsors include:
- Informative monthly Women's Network luncheons
- Changing the Odds, a community outreach program
- Network Connect program
- Professional development events such as the Success Series Seminar
- ATHENA Award, given annually to an individual who has opened the doors of leadership opportunities to women
- Quarterly social events, and much, much more!
